J&J Worldwide Services, an Austin, Texas-based management solutions provider that supports the U.S. government, won a spot on a $75 billion contract run by the Department of Health and Human Services’ to support the Administration for Children and Families Office of Refugee Resettlement, according to Washington Exec.
The indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract has a ceiling value of $75 billion for 10 years, with a base period of five years, and single five-year option.
As a part of the contract, J&J Worldwide Services will provide professional, administrative and management services and support, waste management and remediation services at the Office of Refugee Resettlement Influx Care Centers, where unaccompanied minors are transferred for care after being taken in by the Department of Homeland Security.
Other services include campus and facility maintenance and operations, dining and laundry services, security, transportation, recruiting and personnel support, direct care, line-of-sight supervision, case management and classroom instruction.
The company has provided operation and maintenance support to federal programs for the last 50 years, CEO Steve Kelley told GovConWire. J&J has been awarded over $4.3 billion in government contract funding across 9,649 transactions to date, according to the government’s contract awards database.
Last month, the company said it completed transition work on a five-year task order to support U.S. Army medical treatment facilities in Europe and had started providing operations and maintenance services to medical treatment facilities in Germany, Belgium and Italy.
